I was educated at Stonyhurst College from the age of 11 till I left school. It is a Jesuit boarding school situated in Lancashire, England.
My College days were spent at Queen Mary College, London University. There I studied Nuclear Engineering.

After spending some time at Imperial College doing research in "Inertial Confinement Nuclear Fusion", I took up a job at Otis Elevator Plc as a design Engineer.
From there I took a radical turn in my life and trained as a secondary teacher of Maths at the London Institute of Education. On graduation, Janine and I decided to return to Las Palmas, were we both worked at International Schools, mine being The American School of Las Palmas, where I worked up the year 1999-2000.
After taking a refresher course in CATIA - the engineeding design program used by most European Car and Aircraft Manufacturers - I am now working in this discipline. My first contract was in Germany and just to give you an idea of what is involved, here are a few screenshots. My main hobby is Karate. I train in the traditional Shotokan with Dojo1 in Las Palmas

In May 2001 I became a member of the Glia Society - - an organisation exclusively for the "above 150 IQ" members - that is one in a thousand of the unselected population. I have created the beginnings of my "CARS" page. Here I hope to deliver a brief history of all the cars I have owned since obtaining my licence - and some I drove before :-) Volvo .... and then, there was my: Porsche 911 3.2lt - 1988!!
